Clark, Midland Rites Midland - Mrs. Jake Clark, 40, died of a heart attack at her home here Friday, June 11, 1962. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Ellis Funeral Chapel here, with burial in Robert Lee Cemetery. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. She was born Luda Earline Roberts, May 12, 1922, in Robert Lee and graduated from Robert Lee High School. She came to Midland in 1950 from McAllen. She was a member of the Travis Elementary School PTA and active in Girl Scout work. She was a Church of Christ member. Her husband is a plumbing contractor. Survivors include her husband, Jake Edward Clark, two daughters, Carolyn and Katie, both of the home; a son, Edward E. Clark of the home; a brother, Burl Stroud Roberts of Paris, France; a sister, Mrs. Joe E.
