Bryan, 74, a Coke County resident since 1920. Rev. Bill Beaty, Baptist pastor and Douglas Wilkes, local Church of Christ minister, officiated at the services. Burial was in Robet Lee Cemetery under direction of Williams Funeral Home. Mr. Bryan died unexpectedly about 10 p.m. Sunday at his home in Robert Lee. Death was apparently caused by a heart attack. Mr. Bryan was born Sept. 7, 1891 in Shelby County. He was married to Miss Birdie Cumbie Jan. 10, 1912, in Wood County. They came to Coke County in 1920 and Mr. Bryan engaged in stock farming and later in the sand and gravel business. His first wife died in 1962, and he married Mrs. Dena Roberts in Robert Lee on Sept. 6, 1964. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wilson Bryan of Robert Lee and Lt. Col. Frank Dean Bryan, who is stationed at Oakland Army Base, Oakland, Calif., and lives in Pleasant Hill, Calif; one step- daughter, Mrs. Eddie Paul Good of Longview; one sister, Mrs. Ella Martin of New York, N. Y.; five grandchildren and three great grand- children. Pallbearers were Cumbie Ivey, Homer Carwile, Oscar Kresta, Lowell Roane, T. M. Wylie, Jr. and Vaughn Davis.
