Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lyle Pierce, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Robert Lee Cemetery, directed by Newby Funeral Home. Born Ruth Bell, June 28, 1903, in Robert Lee, she was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. W. H. Bell. She married William Rial Denman the December 23, 1920, in Robert Lee. He died October 11, 1967, in Texas City where they had resided for about 30 years. They had also lived at Robert Lee, Ballinger and Tyler. Mrs. Denman moved back to Robert Lee shortly after the death of her husband and had lived here since. She was a housewife and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include a son William Rial Denman, Jr. of Hobbs, Texas; two daughters Tommie Joy Denman of San Jose, California; and Charlotte Prickett of Dallas; seven sisters, Opal Brown and Robbie Turner, both of San Angelo, Jodie Lowry, Willie Clark and Alta Bilbo, all of Robert Lee, Jeffie Williamson of Big Spring and Lois Landers Holtville, California; three grandsons; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews Pallbearers were Jack Payne of Dallas; Tyson Payne of LaMarque; O.
