Graveside services were held at Sanco Cemetery Monday with Ray Aldridge, minister of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial was in the Sanco, Cemetery. Mrs. Adkins was born Nov. 5, 1910 in Chickasaw, OK. She was the daughter of John and Ida Dorsey. She was married to Jess Adkins. He died in January, 1981. Mrs. Adkins lived in Robert Lee for 20 years before she moved to Houston three years ago. She was a past member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church. Survivors include a brother, Elbert Sparks of Oregon, two sisters, Roselle N. Reagan of Houston and Lavota Roberts of Corpus Christi, two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
