All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/txfiles.htm *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX, September 27, 1985 Austin rites told Mrs. Isham Austin, Jr., 54, died about 1 p.m. Tuesday, Septembet 7, 1930 at her home near Robert Lee of an apparent heart attack. May Dell Prine was born at Sanco, on December 7, 1930. Her Parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Prine. She was reared in and around the Sanco community and attended both Sanco and Robert Lee schools. She was married to Isham M. Austin, Jr. in Ballinger on March 7, 1949. Mrs. Austin was a homemaker on the ranch in the Graham Valley community where the couple made their home. They have four children; two sons, Monte and Travis, of the home; and two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Connie) Gettinge of Fontana, CA, and Mrs. Daniel (Venita) Richardson of San Angelo. Along with her husband of the home, she is survived by three brothers, Layefette Prine and Johnny Prine, both of Fontana, CA and J.M. Prine Of San Angelo; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Rena) Salgado, Fontana,, CA, Mrs. August (Cleo) Hoes, San Angelo, Mrs. Barton (Willie Jean) Willingham, Hermleigh; and her mother-in-law Mrs. Lila Austin Cope of Robert Lee. Funeral setvices for Mrs. Austin were held at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday in the Robert Leo Community Center. Bruce Smith and Craig Linquist conducted The Way Of the Truth, nondenominational services. Interment followed in the Sanco Cemetery. Services will be at 4:30 p.m. today in the Robert Lee Community Center with Craig Winquist officiating. Burial Will be in Sanco Cemetery, directed by Shaeffer Funeral Home. Ms. Austin was a homemaker and had lived in the area for 15 years. She was born Dec. 7, 1930. Survivors include her husband, I.M. Austin Jr. of Sanco, two sons, Monty Austin and Travis Austin, both Of Sanco; two daughters, Connie Gettings Of Fontana, Calif., and Deneta Richardson of San Angelo; three brothers, J.M. Prine Of San Angelo, and Lafeyette Prine and Johnny Prine both of California; and three sisters, Cleo Hose of San Angelo, Wille Willingham of Hermleigh and Rena Salgato of Fontana, Calif.
