Rev. Wilson M. Carwile, 67, died at Southwest Methodist Hospital
in Dellas on February 26 following a sudden illness. Funeral 
services were held at Davis Funeral Home, in Georgetown on 
Feb. 28, with burial following at Leander in Bagdad Cemetery. 
Services were conducted by Rev. Clyde Wilton of Bryan, a fellow 
student of Mr. Carwile's at Howard Payne University at 
Brownwood many years ago

Son of the late Fannie Lee and John L. Carwile of Sanco, he was 
born in Robert Lee November 24, 1918.

Survivors include two daughters, Colleen Watley of Bastrop 
and Flora Richey, Lake Jackson; two brothers, Henry Carwile, 
Robert Lee, and Herman Carwile of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and 
three grandchildren, Chris, Kelly, and Aaron Richey.
