Jones

Mrs. Gladys Mae Jones, 72, of San Angelo, died at 2:20 pm on Sunday, 
May 17, at her home.

Funeral services were held at 10 am Tuesday, May 19,

at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Van Perdergrass officiating. 
Burial followed in the Eola Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones and her late husband, Ernest Jones, were former Robert 
Lee residents where Mr. Jones operated the local barber shop.

Mrs. Jones was born June 27, 1914, in Hawley. She had been a 
resident of San Angelo for ten years and was a sales clerk for 
Hemphill Wells. She was a member of West Angelo Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Earl Jones of Midlothian, and 
Alton Ernest Jones of Burkburnett; and three grandsons.
