Simpson

Nellie N. Simpson, former Robert Lee resident, died at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, Aug. 27, in a San Angelo hospital. Funeral services for 
Mrs. Simpson, 92, were held at 2 P.M. Monday Aug. 29, in Lake View 
Baptist Church, officiated by Reverends Bennie Smith and Chester
Sylvester.  Burial followed in Robert Lee Cemetery.

She was born April 28, 1896, in Bosque County, Texas. 

She was married to Victor H. Simpson In Taylor County in 1916. 
They resided Coke County until Mr. Simpson's death in 1955.  Mrs. 
Simpson resided in San Angelo since that time. 

Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker and an active member Of the Lake View 
Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters, Sybil Burch of 
Crane, Doris Bryan of Fortuna, Callf., Glenn Simpson of San Angelo
Vance Simpson of Vista, Cafif., Gary Simpson of Austin, Arlyn 
Simpson Of San Angelo; and Annelle Vick Of San Angelo; 12 
grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren and a host of other relatives 
and friends.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Lake View Baptist 
Church Building Fund or a favorite charity.
