Services were at 2. p m Wednesday, February 27, 1991, at the Haskell Church of Christ with Dr. Arlie Hoover and Dale Huff officiating. Burial was in Willow Cemetery under the direction HoldenMcCauley Funeral Home. Jim was born in Haskell on September 25, 1956 and graduated from Bronte High School in 1975. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene. He attended Abilene Christian University where he was a member of SUB-T-16 Men's Social Club and a volunteer at the ACU Library from 19861990. He received his first degree from ACU in 1980 in Mass Communication/Radio/Television. In 1983, he received his second degree in education with History and English. He then taught for three years at the Bridge School in Abilene. He was owner of Custom Video in Abilene. He has always been very active in and was a spokesman for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and had participated in every Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon since moving to Abilene. Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Eva Dunnam of Abilene; maternal grandfather, James Adkins of Abilene; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of friends. Memorials may be made to the MDA. Pallbearers were Dave Caldwell of Abilene, John Wright of Clyde, Bob Utley of Abilene, Ray Watson of Hamby, Jim Dan Raughton of Midland, and Frank Weise of Abilene.
