Services were conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the De Leon First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Satterwhite and Jackie Auvenshine officiating. Burial was in Victor Cemetery, directed by Nowlin Funeral Home. She was born in Comanche County December 22, 1919. She was married to Alfred lee Shook in Dumas August 28, 1950. Mrs. Shook was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church Mr. and Mrs Shook resided in Robert Lee from 1969-1983 when they moved to De Leon Survivors include her husband, Alfred Lee Shook of DeLeon; two sons, Tommy Ray Shook of Robert Lee and Jerry Steven Shook of De Leon; one daughter, Leona Marline Morris of Coppers Center, Alaska; one brother, Henry Ford Carr of De Leon; four sisters, Lera Doggett of Green Briar, Ark., Wanda LeMaster and Jean Landreth, both of De Leon, and Naomi Lance of Sun City, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Kevin Johnson of San Angelo, Amy Johnson and Rachel Shook, both of Robert Lee, and Josh, Robert and Clarence Morris, all of Coppers Center, Alaska.
