San Angelo Standard-Times, December 8, 1996 Marlin Rogers Sr. FORT WORTH - Marlin W. Rogers Sr., 76, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, in a local care center. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home with burial at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bronte. He was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Bronte. He was the owner of Rogers Jewelry Inc. in Fort Worth and was a former employee of Hollands Jewelry. Survivors include his wife, Melba Rogers of Fort Worth; two sons, Marlin W. Rogers Jr. of Arlington and Lynn Allison Rogers of Fort Worth; a daughter, Robyn L. Prater of Allen; two sisters, Irene Hardy of Snyder and Fay Wheeler of May; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
