Services were at 3 pm Thursday, October 16, 1997, at the Iglesia Baptist Betel with burial following in Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery. Arrangements were by Shaffer Funeral Home of Robert Lee. Juanita was born January 9, 1954, in Palau, Mexico. She married Alejo Saucedo on October 5, 1971, in Palau, Mexico, moving to Robert Lee in October of 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of Iglesia Bautista Betel. Survivors include her husband, Alejo Saucedo of Robert Lee; one son, Francisco Javier Saucedo of San Angelo; three daughters, Jannie Gloria, Ruth Elizabeth Saucedo, and Cristina Saucedo, all of Robert Lee; her mother, Evangelina Favila of Piedras Negras, Mexico; her step-mother, Maria Rodriguez of Muequiz, Mexico; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.
