Morris G. Varnadore, 76, of Houston and formerly of Robert Lee, died
Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at his residence.

Graveside services were held Thursday, December 4, 1997, in Robert Lee
Cemetery.  Arrangements were by Shaffer Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Dee Wilson Varnadore of Houston; two
sons, DeWayne Varnadore of Tyler and David Varnadore of Houston; a
daughter, D'Ann Arnold of Houston; two brothers, H. C. Varnadore of 
Fort Smith, Ark., and J. Cue Varnadore of Seabrook; a sister, Lynn 
Doris Smith of Robert Lee; seven grandchildren; and several nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
