San Angelo Standard-Times, 13 November 1998 Velda Hargrave BRONTE - Velda Rose Hargrave, 28, of Bronte died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, in a San Angelo hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tennyson Baptist Church with burial in Fort Chadbourne Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 29, 1970, in Sayre, Pa., and had been a resident of Bronte for seven years. She worked as a nursing assistant and was a member of Tennyson Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, David Hargrave of Bronte; her mother, Norma Parks of Bronte; a son, Joshua Richard Hargrave of Bronte; two daughters, Ericka Michelle Hargrave and Lyndsay Brooke Hargrave, both of Bronte; a brother, Frank Parks of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Dorothy Castello of Bronte and Nancy Abernathy of Coleman; special niece, Cassandera Hope Parks of Bronte; and several nieces and nephews.
