San Angelo Standard-Times, 3 January 1998 Abram Rodriguez BRONTE - Abram Gaitan Rodriguez, 59, of Bronte died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at his residence.Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer Funeral Home. He was born May 14, 1938, in Abilene and had lived in Bronte for six years. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired staff sergeant and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Judith Rodriguez of Bronte; four sons, Sam Rodriguez of Massachusetts, Jimmy Rodriguez of Killeen, Micheal Rodriguez of Nebraska and Steven Rodriguez of Bronte; six daughters, Annette Garcia of Bronte, Molly Dotson of Nebraska, Pearl Street of San Antonio, Irma Carrasco of San Antonio, Elaine Gonzales of Bronte, Josephina Rodriguez of Abilene; two stepsons, Allen Elvena and Chad Elvena, both of San Angelo; two brothers, Albert Rodriguez and Tony Rodriguez, both of Abilene; and two sisters, Lala Valdez and Lily Aleman, both of Abilene; and 27 grandchildren.
