THELMA BARRETT

Thelma "Billie" Barrett, 86, of Robert Lee died October 25, 1999, 
at Robert Lee Care Center.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 1999,
at the Robert Lee Cemetery, officiated by Ray Aldridge.  Services were
under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Thelma was born November 28, 1913, in New Castle, Oklahoma, to Joseph 
and Deliah Jane Reed.  She married Noah Barrett on September 13, 1930.
They lived most of their life in Happy, Texas, before moving to Robert
Lee in 1979.  She was a member of the Robert Lee Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah, and two sons, Gary 
Barrett and Joe Barrett.

She is survived by two sisters, Zelma Selvidge and Osie Scivally; and 
five grandchilddren, Sydney, Allison, Mike, Dee, and Teena.
