RIVES

Funeral services for John F. Rives of Odessa were held on Wednesday,
Dec. 8, in the Sunset Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Sunset
Memorial Gardens.  He died Dec. 5 in the New Horizon Nursing Center.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Buford Rives of Odessa; his daughters,
Floy Heath of Odessa and Johnnie Lou Gaston of Fort Stockton; his 
brother, Tom Rives of Robert Lee; sister, Daisy Trimble of Corsicana;
five grandchildren; nine great-grandchilddren; seven great-grandchildren;
seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
