Graveside services were Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at 10:00 am with Jim Reeves of the Robert Lee Methodist Church officiating. The graveside service were at the Elmwood Cemetery in Abilene, Texas. Arrangements were by Shaffer Funeral Home. Anne was born October 27, 1910 in Stamford, Texas to George and Mary Ludecke. She was raised in Stamford and she married Charlie Hughes. They made their home in Abilene from 1963-1978 then moved to Odessa until returning to Abilene from 1984-1988 then moving to Robert Lee. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Robert Lee and was a homemaker. Her survivors include one son, Dave Hughes of Robert Lee; one sister, Opal Mobley of Missoula, Montana; one brother, James R. Ludechke of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
