McDONALD

Maxine Kathryn McDonald, 84 of Bronte, Texas went to be with the Lord
on December 3, 2000.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2000 
at Ft. Chadbourne Cemetery with Reverend John Curry of Blackwell
officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral
Home in Bronte.

Maxine was born on November 24, 1916 in Bronte to William C. and Mary
Etta Collette.

She was married to Walter D. (Pete) McDonald on May 18, 1940.  Pete
preceded her in death on January 4, 1994.  She was preceded in death
by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.  She is survived by one son J. O. McDonald
and his wife Robbin of Bronte; one grandson J. D. (Bear) McDonald II of
Bronte; and several nieces and nephews.
