ADAMS

Clyde M. Adams died in a local hospital at Midland, Texas on Tuesday,
May 29, 2001.

Visitation was set for Thursday, May 31, 2001, from 6:00 pm at Ellis 
Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Friday, 
June 1, 2001, at Ellis Funeral Home Cahpel with Reverend Myron L. Unruh
officiating.  Ieterment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park under the
direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

Clyde M. Adams was born May 23, 1919, in Mitchell County, Texas to Home
Clyde and Onie Avon Adams.  Mr. Adams served in the United States Army
during World War II in the American and Asiatic Pacific Theaters.  Clyde
retired as an Electrician.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Acacia
#1414 and I.B.E.W. Local #623.  Clyde was of the Methodist faith.

Clyde was preceded in death by the parents, two brothers, Homer Adams
and Lloyd Adams; and a sister, Jessie Allen.  He is survivied by his
sisters, Hazel Caulder of Graham, Texas; Lucille Weeks of Brownwood,
Texas; Gladys Millican of Belton, Texas; Mary Bolton of Midland, Texas;
and Evelyn Bagwell of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his brother, W. E. "Slats"
Adams of Midland, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews to whom he 
was "Uncle Boop."

Serving as pallbears were Terry Manning, Ronnie Adams, Larry Millican,
Doyle Caulder, James Chew and Ricky Eads.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
