Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 8, at the First Baptist Church of Bronte with the Reverend Morris Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery. Services were under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. She was born July 13, 1928, to Charles and Ellie Self and raised in Dublin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy James Clark. Christine is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Karla Clark; her daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Paul Gohman; six grandsons; three sisters, Lucretia and S. L. Trice, Patsy Rogers, and Charlene Howell; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials be given to First Baptist Church, Bronte, Texas. The family would like to thank all who have helped and shown love and concert to Christine during this difficult time.
