She was born on November 4, 1927, in Bridgeport, IL. Preceding her in death were her father, William G. Ralston; husband, Jesse English; daughter, Sheila Hanna; son, Jesse English, Jr.; and one grandson, Kyle Wayne Bil­bery. She and her family moved to Bronte, Texas in 1965. They lived in Bronte until 1974 when at that time they moved to Robert Lee where they made their home. She worked as a nurse's aid in Bronte and Robert Lee before retiring in the mid 80's. She is survived by four daughters, Karen Rowoldt and husband, Bill of Green­wood, Tx, Carlyn Elliott and husband, Randy of Christoval, Tx, Cheryl Millican, and Tammy Edging and husband, Donald, of Robert Lee, Tx. Her mother, Fraulin Ralston; two sisters, Janey Pinkston of Denver City, Tx and Phyllis Lowe of Big Lake, Alaska. She has 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and two on the way, who she dearly loved and many close friends. Service was held Sunday, October 14, at 3:00 pm in the Victory Assembly of God Church in Robert Lee. Burial followed in the Robert Lee Cemetery. Arrangements were by Shaffer Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Donald Edging, Sr., Randy Elliott, Jerome Hanna, Bill Rowoldt, Donny Edging, Jr., Jeremy Edging, Larry Wayne Franklin, and Michael Burns. Honorary pallbearers were Gary and Randy Bilbery, Sean Edging, Casey Rowoldt, Ray Wallace, Jamie Powers, Michael Bra­suel, and John Gallimore. WHAT GOD HATH PROMISED Got hath not promised, skies always blue. Flowers strewn pathways, all our lives through. God hath not promised Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain.
