ALLEN

William Glyn "Bill" Allen, 76, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at his 
residence in Sweetwater.  Service was conducted at 11:00 am Monday, 
Jan. 14, at the First Christian Church, in Sweetwater, with Rev. 
Thomas Minton officiating.  Graveside service followed at 3:00 pm in 
the McKenzieville Cemetery at Silver, TX.  Arrangements were by McCoy
Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Allen of Sweetwater; son, Glyn Allen
of Abilene; 3 daughters, Vickie Engle of Thornton, CO, Debbie Oliver 
and Linda Thompson, both of Abilene; 4 sisters, Ruth Clegg of Pocasset, 
MA, Cleone Sanders, Nita Archer, and Esther Jones all of san Angelo, 5 
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
