His deep Christian faith was evident by his kind and giving nature and his love for God, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Janet Dean Baker of San Angelo; three daughters and son-in-laws, Dianne and Gary Parker of San Angelo, Cheri and Rick Mashbum of Salado, Texas and Mary Kay and Mike Brasael of Midland, Texas; seven grandsons, Gregg Parker, Cody Parker, Brandon Parker, Tony Mashbum, Paul Mashbum, Eddie Brasuel, Clint Brasuel, and two sisters, Brandi Parker and Melissa Brasuel; and three great grandchildren; one sister, Kay Denman of Corpus Christi, Texas and brother Ronnie Baker of Robert Lee, Texas. Family visitation was held on Saturday, April 6, 2002, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at Shaffer Funeral Horne. Funeral servic­es were held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2002, at the Robert Lee Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Robert Lee Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Pallbearers were the grandsons and honorary pallbearers were the Adult Men's Sunday School Class at Robert Lee Baptist church. The family would like to thank Hospice of San Angelo for lov­ng and taking such good care of Bobby during his illness. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of San Angelo.
