What a blessing! Dick was superintendant the Bronte Park and Course for 11 years, then returned to his first love of oil drilling and consultant until he retired. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2002, at Central Baptist Church. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny, his parents, two brothers, and a sister. Survivors are his wife Marjorie; four daughters, Andra and Mike Arrott and Shalon and Randy Gibbs, all of Bronte, Sherri Eberl of San Antonio and Dicki Lyn Cooper of Ballinger; three sons, Donald and Mary Jane Cooper and Ronald Cooper, all of Bronte, and Robbie and Nes Cooper of Vernon; five brothers; three sisters; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. We will remember the great love and devotion he possessed, his love and concern for others and his ability to make things right. Thank you, Sweetheart, for loving and caring for us. We love you now and for always! Your Family Don't worry about your "Marj" now Don't you shed another tear We'll take care of her for you 'Cause God knows we need her here We know that you're at peace now Tho' it's hard to be apart Just know that 'til we meet you We embrace you with our hearts.
