Dorthe James McClure, 69, of Bronte, died Thursday, Mrch 7, 2002 at
her residence.  Graveside services were held at 11:00 am Saturday,
March 9, 2002, at Mule Creek Cemetery.  Arrangements were by Shaffer
Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, J. P. "Jake" McClure of Bronte; four
children, Danny Parker of Oklahoma, Paula Schmidt of Colorado, Denise
Porter and Cody McClure both of Bronte; two brothers, Melvin James 
and Buck James both of San Angelo.  One sister, Hazel Magness of
Blackwell; cousin, Darlene Pointer of Big Lake; eight grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren.
