She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She married S. B. Plumlee on September 29, 1928. they had two children, Betty George of Lake Jackson, Texas and Don Plumlee and wife, Wanda of West Columbia, Texas. She had several grandchildren, Becky Vernor and husband Gary of Brazoria, Texas; Larry King of Lake Jackson and Phil Plumlee (deceased). Her great grandchildren included Shelby and Cindy Vernor of Brazoria and Tim King of San Antonio. She had lived in Lake Jackson the past 4 years with her daughter. She really missed friends and family in Coke County. Graveside services were October 23, 2002, at 11 am in the Robert Lee Cemetery, performed by Bro.
