Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 20 in the Robert Lee United Methodisi Church with the Rev. Jim Reeves officiating. Burial will be in the Robert Lee Cemetery directed by Shaffer Funeral Home. Floy was born July 18,1912 in Indian Creek, Texas, to J. H. & Eliza Lyon. She married R. C 'Buz' Sawyer, in Ranger, Texas on November 9,1935. They moved to Robert Lee from Ranger, Texas in 1952. Survivors include one son Tom Sawyer, Sr. and wife Gay of Robert Lee; two daughters Rose Davis and husband Garland of Robert Lee, and Kenney Sims and husband Dr. Ronald Sims of Houston; eight grandchildren, Tom Sawyer, Jr. and wife Sandy of Pearland, Wesley Sawyer and wife Gina of Hutto, Jamie Sawyer and wife Terri of Las Vegas, NV, Glenn Davis and wife Colleen of Medina, Gary Davis and wife Carmela of Denver City and Copie Davis and fiance Alicia McDaniel of Austin; Dr. Penne Gooch and husband Dr. Clift Gooch of Ardsley, NY, and Kelly Sims and fiance Gabe Collard of Houston; twelve great-grandchil­dren, Brandi, Trey & Ashley Sawyer of Pearland, Levi, Jeremiah, Susanna and Luke Sawyer of Hutto, Kystle Sawyer of Las Vegas, NV, Courtney, Curtis and Cami Davis of Medina and Martow Davis of Denver City, and a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters. Memorials may be made to the Robert Lee United Methodist Church, the Robert Lee Care Center, Vista-Care Hospice and the Robert Lee Volunteer Fire Department.
