Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2002, at the First Baptist Church in Bronte with Reverend R. W. Blackmon officiating, assisted by Reverend Morris Johnson. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Ivy was born in Crowell, Texas on April 4, 1915. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Travis "T.O." Spiller and her son, Bill Spiller. She is survived by her sons, Donald Spiller and wife, Anita of Sonora and Eddy Spiller and wife, Sue of Taylor; she is also survived by Bill's wife Kay Turley and husband Jim of Granbury; six grand- children, Decky Spiller and wife, Misti of Fredericksburg, April Murden and husband, Blake of Washington, Kevin Spiller and wife, Sherri of Lubbock, Kelly Spiller and wife Jennifer of Del Rio, Lance Turley and wife Dianne of Ohio, and Lisa Martalla and husband, Dave of Virginia; twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, L.
