He was born April 30, 1938 in San Angelo to Curtis Elmo and Bernice Davis Bell. Graveside services were held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2003, in Robert Lee Cemetery. Arrangemnts were by Shaffer Funeral Home. Don served in the Air Force for 3 years. Don lived in Florida, New York state and various other places, then moved back to Robert Lee about 30 years ago. He worked at Bell's Body Shop, then started his own contracting business, building metal buildings. Survivors include his wife, Gina of Robert; sons, Ricky and Tony of Robert Lee, Curtis of Port Hueneme, CA; one daughter, Dona McCoulskey and husband Scott and grandchilden, Alexis and Alan of Robert Lee; brothers, Jimmy Bell and Larry Bell; sister, Nettie Bob Roberts.
