He went to be with his Lord on Monday, Feb. 3, 2003. Raymond served four years in the Marine Corps and five years in the Reserves. He was a great husband, son, brother and grandfather. He loved family and friends and playing golf on Sundays! Survivors include his wife, Alicia Sanchez of Bronte; his parents, Ramon and Sophia Sanchez of Bronte; two sons, Ray Sanchez and Ricky Sanchez, both of San Angelo; one stepdaughter, Natalie Armendarez and one stepson, Joseph Flores, both of San Angelo; three sisters, Margaret Peters of Bronte, Helen Gloria of San Angelo and Christina Tapia of Bronte; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Gloria, Juan Tapia, Danny Saldana, Louis Martinez, Mike Rios and Joseph Flores Permission granted by the San Angelo Standard-Times for publication in the Coke County TXGenWeb Archives.
