AGENT BRONTE - Roy T. Agent, 55, of Bronte passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, in a local hospital. A family visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at the Bronte Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Roy was born on Feb. 22, 1949, in Columbia, Tenn., to Roy and Rosie Lee Agent. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked in the insurance industry as a Catastrophic Insurance Adjuster since 1992. After traveling to different areas around the country working storms and disasters, he and his wife, Linda, began to work mostly in the West Texas area. It was at this time that they chose to live in Bronte. Roy is survived by his wife, Linda Agent, of Bronte; his mother, Rosie Agent of Bronte; three daughters, Tiffany Agent of Lavergne, Tenn., Elissa Garza of Coppell, Texas, and Christa Bulian of Irving, Texas; and one grandson, Justin Cameron of Coppell, Texas. The family would like to express their gratitude to the good people of Bronte for all their love and concern during Roy's illness. Roy's wife, Linda, asks that memorials be made to the Salvation Army, In Memory of Roy Agent for the Florida Disaster Victims, P.O. Box 589, San Angelo, TX 76902, since they were not able to go to Florida and help them in person.
