All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/txfiles.htm *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Robert Lee, Coke County, TX - April 9, 2004 BAGWELL Dwain Bagwell, 70, of Clyde and formerly of Bronte, was ready to meet his heavenly father that greeted him with open arms on Sunday, April 4, 2004, at the Clyde Nursing Home. Dwain was born on June 6, 1933 in Hayrick, Texas. He married Sandra Thomson on February 6, 1976 at his aunt and uncle's home in Abilene. He served in the United States Army serving in Korea, and he worked for many years and in many different areas of the oil field in the United States and overseas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Charliebelle Bagwell, one brother and one sister. Dwain is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sandra Bagwell, of Clyde; one sister, Rayma Rogers and husband of Tomball; one brother, James O. Bagwell of Arlington; one brother-in-law, Morris Franklin; seven nieces and nephews; their precious church and family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at the Bronte Church of Christ. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Bronte. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the Hospice of the Big Country.
