Bronte -

Zola Opal Burns, 98, died Thursday, September 2, 2004, in the Bronte 
Healthcare and Rehab.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2004, 
in the Decker Cemetery in Nolan County with the Rev. Mark Metzger 
officiating.

Services provided by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.

She was born September 7, 1905 in Maryneal, Texas to William Frank and 
Daisy Weathers Burns. She was a Methodist and homemaker.  She lived 
near Fort Chadbourne, Texas most of her life.
 
Survivors include 1 niece; Wanda Weteck; 1 nephew, Eugene Burns and 
her sister in law, Leon Burns all of Mt. Vernon, MO.
