B. Pairish, 89 of Crane will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 19, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in Crane with Reverends Larry Krueger and Steve Baker officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm in the Fairview Cemeter in Bronte, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane. J. B. passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004, in the Odessa Medical Center hospital. J. B. was born on August 11, 1914 in Bronte, Coke County, Texas. He was the son of "W. J." Wint Jefferson Pairish and Florence McKeehan Pairish. He had been a resident of Crane since 1965. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. J. B. graduated from Bronte High School in 1934 and in 1935 winning a scholarship in football to go to college at A&M, College Station, where he went one year. He is survived by one son, Janson B. Pairish of Fort Stockton, Texas; two grandchildren, Melanie Pairish Lopez of Fort Worth and Shane Pairish of Iraan. Three great grandchildren; two boys - Bryan and Blake and a precious Little Angel girl, Baylee Marie Lopez of Fort Worth; one step-great grandson, Joseph Pairish of Fort Stockton. They will miss their Pap-paw. He was the Love of their life. He is also survived by a special newphew, James Pairish and his wife Beth and family of Bakersfield, California, who stood by him faithfully through his illness. A niece, Eddy Sue McCauley Carter of Marble Falls, TX; and seveal special nieces and nephews, Bobby, Patsy, Ellen, Victor, Mary Frances, Jerry and Stanley who he and Jewell kept for a long time. They were all the Love of his life, plus a number of neices, nephews and cousins and Bucky and Lee Scarborough. Janson says, "Dad, thank you for being my best friend and my strength for 62 years. You are now in the Lord's arms at peace forever. You are missed and loved by many relatives and friends." J. B. was preceded in death by his wife, Nina, his parents, "W.J." Wint and his mother, Florence McKeehan Pairish, one brother, John M. Pairish, two sisters, Bonnie McCauley and Dean Conner.
