Obituary: Oleta Mozelle Vosburg Braswell, July 18, 2010 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines August 2010 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise Friday, July 23, 2010 BRASWELL Oleta Mozelle Vosburg Braswell died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Bronte Health & Rehab Center. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Eddie and Carolyn Braswell of College Station and Dennie and Sharon Braswell of Bronte. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Ginger Williams and husband Matt of The Woodland, Van Braswell of Caddo Mills, Sterling Braswell of College Station, Gentry Braswell of The Woodlands, Shaye Coalson and husband Wayne of Bronte, Blane Braswell and wife Kim of Ballinger, Blake Braswell and wife Valerie of Bronte. Oleta was also blessed with 17 great grandchildren: Hunter and Dillion Williams, Evan, Andra, and Jesse Braswell, Spencer Braswell, Jaidon Braswell, Kanah Esquell and husband Justin, Riley, Ariel and Creed Coalson, Reese, Case and Mason Braswell, Kaitlyn, Marley and Tanner Braswell. Oleta was born October 28, 1913, to Den and Alice Vosburg in Hill County, Texas, the oldest of five children. One sister, Peggy Huse of Malone survives Oleta. Preceding her in death were her husband, George Braswell, her parents Den and Alice Vosburg, brothers Javan an Roger and sister Jane. Oleta will be missed by a host of relatives and friends. She loved to cook for all of them. She worked for the Bronte school in the cafeteria and loved all the children that came through. The family would like to express appreciation for the care she has been given at the Bronte Health & Rehab Center. She was a member of the Bronte Church of Christ and services were held there at 10 am Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Bronte. The grandsons served as pallbearers. Viewing was held from noon until 8 pm, Monday, July 19, 2010, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Bronte with the family present from 7 pm to 8 pm.
