GENTRY

Charles R. “Sonny” Gentry, 88, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010, 
at his residence.  Visitation was Sunday, November 28, 2010.  Graveside 
services were at 2 pm Monday, November 29, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery in 
Bronte, officiated by Matt Pennington.  Services were under the direction 
of Shaffer Funeral Home.
  
Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma (Brookshire) 
Gentry, one daughter Debra Gentry Harcourt, and two brothers Bob Gentry and 
Pinky Gentry.
 
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Loudell Gentry, his son David 
Gentry and wife Brendi, his brother, Bill Gentry and his wife Ginger all of 
Bronte, one son in law, Jim Harcourt of Abilene; grandchildren Melinda Gentry 
of San Angelo, Shelaon Harcourt Tulley and husband Mark of Clyde, Heath Harcourt 
and wife Landa of Stephenville,  Julia Gentry and husband Michael Manley of 
San Angelo, and six great grandchildren.
