Obituary: Mary Louise Holland, April 20, 2010 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines June 2010 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise Friday, April 30, 2010 HOLLAND Mary Louise Foster Holland finished her earthly journey on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Mary was born to Dee and Katherine Cauble Foster on January 20, 1926, in Big Spring, Texas. Her gentle spirit brought joy to those who knew her. She enjoyed reading her Bible and her novels, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. J. "Red" Holland; her daughter, Vicki Holland Canfil; her parents and both siblings. Mary is survived by her two sons, Cap Holland and wife, Diane. Tony Holland and wife, Debbie, all of Brookshire community; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children, 14 great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends was from 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday, April 22, at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.. A graveside celebration of Mary's life was held at 2 pm Friday, April 23, at Mt. victory Cemetery in Brookshire Community with Paul Shero officiating. Memorials may be made to Southgate church of Christ, San Angelo, Texas. Services were under the direction of Lange Funeral Home. Guests may register at ballingerfuneralhome.com.
