LANDERS

Lela Lorena Ash Landers was born August 15, 1912.  She died on Saturday, 
June 26, 2010 at 97 years of age.
 
She grew up around Bronte, Texas. Lorena married Jerry Landers in 1929.  
They had two children, J O Landers and Anita Fay Brown.  They became 
grandparents to nine grandchildren: Linda, Nathan, Tom, Grace, Lee, 
Christine, Joseph, Pam and Patty.  They had eight great-grandchildren.  
They had eleven great-great grandchildren.

Lorena loved the Bible and dedicated her life and baptized as one of 
Jehovah's Witnesses on September 15, 1956, as a regular publisher of the 
good news about God's Kingdom.  She remained faithful to that dedication 
to her death.

Visitation was held all day Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Shaffer Funeral Home 
in Bronte.  Memorial service was held Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 12:30 pm 
at the Ballinger Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1700 N. 8th Street.  
Interment followed at 2 pm at Fairview Cemetery in Bronte, conducted by 
Jehovah's Witnesses.  Arrangements were by Shaffer Funeral Home.
