Obituary: Kyler Scott Lee, July 11, 2010 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines August 2010 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise Friday, July 16, 2010 LEE Kyler Scott Lee, 21, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 11, 2010. Visitation was all day Wednesday, July 14, 2010, with the family present from 6 pm - 8 pm. Funeral service was at 2 pm Thursday, July 15, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Bronte with Brother Morris Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Kyler was once described by a friend as "someone with a large heart and great love". This statement is so true of Kyler. He loved everyone and they loved him in return. Kyler always responded with a polite yes sir, yes ma'am, a good handshake and get ready for his hug! He was always willing to stop whatever he was doing to help someone else (no charge) and it didn't matter if it took days. Kyler was once seen getting up from a table at a restaurant to hurry to the entrance just to open the door to assist with an older handicapped lady who was trying to enter the restaurant. His love included the outdoors. He loved hunting and staying up all night calling varmints with his dad and fishing the Colorado River at Mam - maw's place. Kyler will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Kyler is survived by his father, Todd Lee of Bronte; his mother, Sheila Baker and her husband Gary of Bronte; his brothers, Cody Lee of Alpine, Tyson Baker of Dublin; his grandparents, Eva Lee of Dallas, Tom Lee and wife Elaine of San Angelo; Guy and Sabre Abbott of San Angelo, Pam and Gary Baker of Midland, his great-grandparents, Eula Verne Lee of Bronte, Walden Benton of New Braunfels, Mildred Abbott of San Angelo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Kyler is also survived by his special friends, the Wallace Family and his best friend, Cody Wallace. Memorials can be made to the C. J. Macon Scholarship Fund at the First National Bank of Sterling City in Bronte, Texas, in lieu of flowers. ****** Permission granted by The Observer/Enterprise for publication in the Coke County TXGenWeb and/or the Coke County Archives of the USGenWeb.
