MINJAREZ

BRONTE - Louis Ponce Minjarez, 85, went to be with his Lord and Saviour 
on Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 24, 2010 
in Fairview Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Shaffer 
Funeral Home/Bronte.

Louis was a very loving husband and father.  He was a hard worker and always 
provided the best he could for his family.  He enjoyed the time he spent 
with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.  He would do anything 
for his family and friends.  He will be missed by all those who knew and 
loved him.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Juanita Minjarez; 
his brothers, Edward Minjarez, Favlan Minjarez, Joe Minjarez, and Paul 
Minjarez; and his sisters, Santos Garcia and Nativida Uranga.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alice Minjarez of Bronte; 
his daughters, Ofelia Torres of Robert Lee, Lydia Soto and husband Jimmy, 
Elvia Casares all of Bronte; his son, Louis Minjarez, Jr. and his fiancée 
Dorothy Castello both of Bronte; and his sister, Enedina Jimenz.  He is also 
survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Bronte Health and Rehab 
Center and Vista Care Hospice.
