MITCHELL

Emmagene Brooks Mitchell, 86, of Abilene, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at a 
local care center.  Chapel services were at 10 am Thursday, may 6, at 
Community Memorial Funeral Home, with Dr. Jack Ridlehoover and 
Dr. Jeff Reid officiating.  A graveside service followed at 1 pm Thursday 
at the Bronte Cemetery.   Visitation was Wednesday, May 5, from 5 to 7 
at the funeral home.

She is survived by a son Jim Mitchell and wife, Brenda, of Abilene; 
one daughter, Cathy Ferguson and husband, Mike, of Houston; six 
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents, her husband, James Edward Mitchell in 1970; 
two brothers and one sister.
