Cathy McGinley

Cathy Fay McGinley, 50, went to be with her loved ones in heaven on 
Friday, September 9, 2011. A Celebration of her life was held at 2 pm 
Thursday, September 15, 2011, at the Robert Lee Baptist Church with 
Danny White officiating. Services were under the direction of 
Shaffer Funeral Home.
  
Cathy was born on October 7, 1960, to Gorman and Jewel Walker in 
Big Spring, Texas. On December 15, 1979, she married the love of her 
life Terry McGinley. She moved to Robert Lee and she and Terry made 
Robert Lee their home.

She loved the outdoors!  She enjoyed fishing, ranching, hunting and 
even taking her dogs out for walks.
  
Cathy had a great love for people and everybody loved her in return. 
She never met a stranger. She was a big prankster and enjoyed playing 
jokes on her husband and other people. She will be missed by all 
those whose lives she touched.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janet.
  
Cathy is survived by her husband, Terry McGinley of Robert Lee; 
her brother, Jimmy Walker; her sisters, Linda Jones and Martha Walker, 
all of Bronte, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, along with 
a large number of dear friends. Cathy is also survived by her "special 
boys", her dogs, Cody and Jack.
