The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - November 25, 2011

ROSS

Roxie Ann Ross, 52, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday,
November 17, 2011. Visitation was held all day Saturday, November 19, 2011,
at the funeral home with the family present from 5 pm to 7 pm. Graveside
service was held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2011, in Paint Creek
Cemetery with J. T. Tucker and Danny White officiating. Services were under
the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. 

Roxie was born December 4, 1958, to Marion Leslie Wickliffe and Thelma Jane
Rollins Wickliffe in Odessa, Texas. Roxie had a great love for all people.
She enjoyed helping other people and always put everyone's needs before her
own. You never saw Roxie that she did not have a smile on her face and a
kind word to say even throughout her illness. She was a wonderful wife,
mother, and grandmother and her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Roxie's loving personality and smile will be missed by all those whose
lives she touched.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, John M.
"Mike" Ross. Roxie is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dennis
Ross of Robert Lee; her sons, Chris Ross of Brownwood, Rodney Rhodes and
wife Wendy of San Angelo; her brothers, Rocky Wickliffe and wife Mamie of
Robert Lee, Rodney Wickliffe and wife June of Snyder; mother-in-law and
care-giver, Marie Ross of Robert Lee; her grandchildren, Seth and Emily of
Brownwood, Samantha and Josh of Bandera, Nicole and Cody of San Angelo. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Vistacare
Hospice for the loving care they gave Roxie during her illness.
