The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - March 16, 2012

Lucy Gloria, 83, was called to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, 
Saturday, March 10, 2012, rejoicing and embracing her beloved husband 
Jesse, son Rudy and daughter Kathy. She was surrounded by her family 
at the home of Irene Gloria Olivas.

She is survived by two sisters, Manuela Sanchez of Kerrville, and Lala 
Villareal and husband Alejandro of New Braunfels; two daughters, 
Irene G. Olivas and husband Reyes of Dallas; Ruth G Luna and husband, 
Junior of San Angelo; two sons, Richard Gloria and wife, Sandra of 
San Angelo, Ray Gloria and wife, Sally of Robert Lee, son-in-law Domingo 
Perez of Amarillo, 8 grandchildren, Amber Colon, William Olivas, 
Leslie Olivas, James Gloria, Norma Gloria, Gina Holmes, Jamie Green, and 
Kimberly Gallegos; 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grand-
children, and former daughter-in-law Nela Gloria of Bronte and her very 
special sisters-in-law Pasquala Sanchez and Lydia Cuellar both of San 
Angelo and brother-in-law Santos Gloria. She also is survived by 
numerous nieces and nephews and her precious beloved pet "Cowboy".
 
Visitation was held from 9 am - 12 noon Monday, March 12. Graveside 
services followed at 2 pm in Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery. Shaffer 
Funeral Home of Robert Lee has been entrusted with arrangements.
