The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - November 9, 2012

James "Royce" Smith Sr., age 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 
October 31, 2012. Royce was born on November 13, 1930, in Bronte, Texas.

Royce was preceded in death by his father, Robbie Willis; his mother, 
Lois Mae and a grandson, Christopher Gleghorn.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Doris; a brother, Willis Wayne; 
three sons and their wives, James and Barbara; Edwin and 
Charmaine; Noal and Kristi and one daughter and her husband, 
Debra and Shane Gleghorn; grandsons, Courtney Smith, Ryan
Gleghorn and Michael Smith; granddaughters, Sherry Boone, 
Jennifer Smith, Mackenzie Smith and one step-granddaughter, 
Chelsea Russell and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, November 2, 2012, at Shaffer Funeral Home 
in Robert Lee with the family present from 6 pm to 7 pm.
Graveside Services were held at 2 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012, 
at Robert Lee Cemetery. Services were under the direction
of Shaffer Funeral Home
