Obituary: Tommy Black, February 14, 2013 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines April 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - March 8, 2013 Tommy Black, 78, of Proctor died Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Burleson, Texas. He was born on September 10, 1934, in Colorado City, Texas, to W. H. and Molly Blanche (Lunceford) Black. On August 7, 1954, he was united in marriage to Daisy Davis in Robert Lee, Texas, and for many years, he worked as a carpenter. He was a member and Deacon of Proctor Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of Proctor; two sons Tommy Lee Black, Jr. of Burleson, and Randy Scott Black of Proctor; three daughters, Sylena Taylor of DeLeon, Molly Hocutt of Corsicana ,and Patty Joslin of DeLeon; sister, Patsy Swann of Odessa; brother, Rodney Black of Del Rio; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Martin Gage Chapa. Graveside services were Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Proctor Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Dale Cartwright.
