Obituary: Bobby Glenn Brock, July 13, 2013 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - Friday, July 19, 2013 Bobby Glenn Brock, 76, of Eunice, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Odessa. Graveside services were held at 2 pm, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery in Bronte, Texas. Bobby was born June 6, 1937, in Bronte, to Nedra (Bell) and Hiram Brock. He graduated from Bronte High School. He married Judith Hester on June 14, 1958. Bobby was employed with El Paso Natural Gas from 1963 to 1994, where he received many safety awards. He was a faithful believer in his ministries, especially The Living Savior Ministries. He enjoyed playing those cds and watching Pastor Thurman Scrivner on the videos. Bobby also loved reading his Bible and listening to God's Word on cds and videos. His favorite story to tell was 'the Kunk story'. Bobby enjoyed camping with his family, raising and showing goats, coon hunting with Bessie, and spending time with his dogs that were his 'girls', Daisy and Krissy. time with his coworkers at El Paso Natural Gas. Survivors include his wife, Judith Brock of Eunice, New Mexico; daughter, Kay Newton and husband Terry of Eunice, New Mexico; daughter, Debbie Cole and husband David of Midland, Texas; son, Michael Brock and wife Penny of Monument, New Mexico; grandchildren, Corey Cole of Eunice, New Mexico, Christy Cole of Midland, Texas, and Samuel Bruton of Monument, New Mexico; siblings, Pat Wrinkle of Rankin, Texas, Ellen Martin of St. Augustine, Florida, and Victor Brock of Grand Prairie, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Wysong and brother, Jerry Brock. The family would like to express their thanks to Brian Henning, Becky Duda, Kyle, the physical therapist at Interim Care, and two nurses' aides at Vistacare Hospice.
