Obituary: Nancy Jean Eaker, Sep, 2013 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - Friday, September 27, 2013 Nancy Jean Eaker, 59, passed away at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas, to A. R. "Bob" Bagwell and Joy Brooks Bagwell. Graveside services were held at 10 am, Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the Robert Lee Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Nancy lived most of her youth in Robert Lee. She lived in Odessa, San Angelo, Kilgore, Cleburne, Brady and ended up back in Robert Lee where she spent her final days. Nancy worked as a Medical Records Director in several hospitals for almost 20 years. She enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, boating, jet skiing and fishing. Nancy loved going to the races, whether cars or boats. She also had a lifelong passion for reading anything she could get her hands on. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Joy Bagwell and her nephew, Kirk Allen Bagwell. Nancy is survived by her daughters; Shaunna Grantham and husband Austin of Robert Lee, Jeannie Ashley and husband Brett of San Angelo; her brothers, Mike Bagwell and wife Cristie of San Angelo, Carl Bagwell of Lubbock; a sister, Karen Sefcik of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Paeton Wright, Tristan and Addison Grantham and Haleigh and Jase Ashley. Nancy is also survived by her nieces, Cara and Joel Sefcik, Tiffany Youngblood and husband, Bubba. She also had many great friends.
