Jimmy Walter Hoyt, 66, of Bronte passed away September 30, 2013, at his 
home. A private service will be held at a later date in Sweetwater. 
Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born on January 31, 1947. Jimmy lived in the Bronte area for 
32 years. He was married to the love of his life, Lavirl, for forty-eight 
years. He retired from Sunoco.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother Kyle Edward Hoyt.

He is survived by his wife, Lavirl of Bronte; his children, Ldean and 
Mary Hoyt of San Antonio, Doug and Cortney Hoyt of Iowa Park, Danny and 
Jacki Hoyt of Bronte, Carrie and Johnny Moore of Bronte, and Blake Hoyt 
of San Angelo. Jimmy is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 
seven great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Sally and Larry 
Gage,  Deryl and Janet Hoyt, and Theresa and Dale Simon.
